1. Stories Are Flight Simulators for Human Life
Psychologist Keith Oatley described fiction as the mind's flight simulator. Just as pilots practice emergencies safely in a simulator, reading a great Urdu novel or Afsana allows us to experience love, loss, moral dilemmas, courage, and forgiveness across a hundred different lives without leaving our chair.
